Efficient Design and Sampling Process
The main objective of this department is sample making. So, let us go through the design and sampling stages in Label Saasha to help you understand the production journey and ensure you receive apparel that looks exactly as you envisioned.
Develop Tech Pack
This is the first stage in the sampling process where we receive a tech pack from the buyer. A tech pack serves as the blueprint of your garment design. It contains all the necessary details, such as garment design, quality, quantity, and price, that are essential for the accurate production of your apparel. In case you don’t know how to make a tech pack, don’t worry—we are here to help! Once we are ready with the tech pack, we can move on to the sampling process.
Request First Prototype
Upon receiving the tech pack, we move on to pattern making, which can be done both manually or through computer-aided design (CAD). You can send your digital pattern print files, or our expert pattern graders can draw out designs on pattern sheets for you.
Once the pattern is ready, we start developing a prototype. Thus, the first sample is often called the proto sample, where the garment is manufactured only to communicate the design or the garment structure and review the basics.
Request Fit Sample
Once the prototype is reviewed and approved, we develop a fit sample. During this stage of sample production, the garment is manufactured with actual measurements. This step allows us to evaluate the fit and functionality of the product by testing it on a live model. This sample accurately reflects the sample size from your size chart.
Finalize Tech Pack
Once you are satisfied with the overall fit and look of the prototype, we finalize the tech pack with the latest alterations of the garment. If necessary, you can request a second prototype to fine-tune the details until satisfaction. Once done, we register the precise specifications for the final manufacturing phase.
Develop Size Set Sample
If your order involves multiple sizes, we will develop size-set samples to check the fit of the apparel in different sizes. In other words, we will develop multiple samples of different sizes in this stage. Common size set samples include jump sizes like S, L, XL, etc.
Confirm Design with PP Sample
To confirm that the finalized design is accurate, we develop a pre-production sample for you in the actual production line. This sample will include actual fabric, trims, accessories, and sewers. A PP sample has to be approved by the client before we move on to the actual manufacturing phase.
Finalize TOP Sample
Once the manufacturing phase starts, a final Top of Production Sample will be sent to you to ensure that our production unit is following the PP sample specifications without any failure. The TOP sample serves as the final approval for bulk production.
